So it's currently the dead of winter and here in New England the snow is starting to become depressing. True there have been a lot of "summery" bands floating around lately, nostalgic beach day magic coming out of the speakers sounding all lo-fi and beautiful. Hi Tiger does the whole experimental thing but doesn't go for the glo-fi aesthetic, these songs are at once dreamy, tropical, happy, electro, and blissed out. Hi Tiger is a side project Brooklyn electro kids Neon Coyote. They take a different path with Hi Tiger but it as all worth it, their EP "Year of the Tiger" seems to draw from every genre imaginable and the final project is is ready for both chilled out days and neon nights.
