I went to The New Deal concert on Saturday night with a few people including fellow untz society bro Jack Pitney. It was a fucking blast to say the least. Very loud livetronica replete with tons wookie high school kids and drugged out hippies tripping face. Sweet. We've been listening to The New Deal since their 2003 release of Gone, Gone, Gone. It's awesome that we finally had a chance to see this bad ass progressive breakbeat house trio. The live drums and bass give them a truly unique sound.
Here's a little taste of the show. I've included a video from the first set that builds up into pure chaos. People explode about 1min 58s in and then it stops at abruptly 2min 06s in. I had to rage obviously.
Videos and recorded songs really don't do this band justice. You need to see them live.
