Just got this song today and already I can't get it out of my head. A high energy, choppy, pulsing electro jam from Chilean producer Barretso; "Midnight Walk" is like a drive down a neon highway at midnight.
This next one is all kinds of crazy. The first single from Discobelle Records is Dada Life's remix of "French Jeans" by MVSEVM. On first listen all I can say is wow. Definitely a throwback to those heavy electro days. This shit seriously bumps.
To go in a slightly different direction, here's a disco classic from Jackpot. This song has enough string stabs and handclaps to keep you dancing through the weekend.
Last but certainly not least is a little bit of punk magic from Worcester, MA's own Golden Girls. With the mantra "we're not lo-fi, we're just broke" Golden Girls storm your earphones with enough energy to kill a medium sized animal. Listen to this one now. And then again. And Again.
Tweezy out.
