Like a Knife Beneath The Water

Tweezy here with some perfect songs for your lazy sunday with a headache. Stumbled across this song from Portand, Oregon's White Hinterland. The minimal beat and echoing female vocals meld perfectly with the steady bassline thumping quietly throughout the track.

This next one is from Texas producer Bryce Isbell. "Haunted" is a slow motion, layered track with more going on every time you listen. (Think glo-fi meets funky drums and you might get the picture.) Isbell collaborates with Neon Indian's Alan Palomo on his latest album DEFINITELY check it out.

Here's a standout cover of MJ's classic "Human Nature" from favorite Toro y Moi. Different than most of Toro's songs this one is a fairly straightforward take on the original with vocals that are very close to perfect. This one is a keeper.

To end things, here's a classic song from 80's indie band The Wedding Present. I  just recently got my hands on the NME C86 tape (look it up if you dont know what it is) And this is one of the standout tracks. Absolutely driving, perfectly lo-fi. Worth all the time it took to find, definitely keep this in your rotation
