All I Can Do Is Daydream

It's friday morning and the headache won't seem to go away. The only answer is music that transports you to a bleached out polaroid of a 1984 beach and makes the sun shine on you even in the dead of winter. This track from mystery band Feathers came out a while back, but didn't reach the popularity of their first single. "Small Rooms" is a perfect blend of dreamy vocals over a driving, danceable beat that is perfect beach day magic.

Up next is a song from a band I know literally nothing about. The song speaks for itself though, it's a catchy and laid back downtempo tune that is sure to get heads nodding.

So I've been into Sweden's Sally Shapiro for quite some time now, her italo-disco sound and breathy voice are pure sex. Here's "Miracle" a track that is sure to please all.

Now to finish off this post, here's the best little piece of glo-fi daydream magic that I have heard in quite some time. The ambien dripping loops and unintelligible vocals meld with a repetitive synth riff that makes for pure escapism.

Tune in. Lay back. Crank it up. Feel it everywhere.

Tweezy out.
