CAT

REAL NAME: CATHERINE A. CARMICHAEL
LOCATION: WOODS HOLE, MA
FIRST CONTACT: MARCH 17, 2005 - TARGET CONSUMED IRISH CAR BOMBS HEAVILY IN SOPHOMORE DORMITORY WHILE FALLING SUBJECT TO SMASHER CHARM

This Wednesday I want to bring you some songs I've been listening to across five different types of electronic music. From electropop to dreamwave, this covers the bases while still hopefully keeping you in pumped up summer mode.

Well, the original may not be new, but Louis La Roche certainly gives this one an upgrade. I can't think of anything more appropriate for the photo above.

VV Brown - Shark In The Water (Louis La Roche Remix)

LightsoverLA is the tits. I seriously suggest you check this guy out if you're unfamiliar. This is straight summer boom. Living room, club or car... it really doesn't matter where you listen to this as long as the volume is all the way up.

Wolfgang Gartner - Push/Rise (LightsoverLA re-edit)

Stumbled across this on 'Syntheticrocks'. Unmistakeable hip-hop beat but I think it works. Slower tempo with some deep bass.

Vistoso Bosses - Delirious (Doctor Rosen Rosen Rx)

I originally wanted to post the 2010 Dvir Halevi Mix but it just didn't feel right without the accordion. Never gets old.

Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina - Stereo love (Molella remix)

More dreamwave than you're used to from me, but give this one a listen. Caught this on 'Offtheradarmusic'. 2m20s this song hits the climax and really satisfies. Very summer and very very good.

Memory Tapes - Bicycle (Little Loud Remix)
