Beaches and Boomboxes

As of this week summer is officially here. The sun has been shining, cool breezes are blowing, the beach is in full effect and the summertime jams just don’t stop coming. Lazersaurus Rex posted a track from Teen Daze a few weeks back truly captures that indescribable feeling of early summer. Here’s another track called “Saviour,” a breathy, billowing track that fades and breaks like waves.

“Saviour” – Teen Daze

I just picked up a couple of songs from Elite Gymnastics that are supposedly “post-chillwave.” But labels aside, these fresh and unique tracks are perfect for either the beach or the dancefloor and with inescapable grooves you’ll have a hard time getting these out of your head.

“Is This on Me?” – Elite Gymnastics

“Montana” – Elite Gymnastics

Next up is a little summertime pop gem from Florida’s own unouomedude (you know you owe me dude) The song is called “Island Summer,” and like the rest of his Atlantic coast chillwave bros unouomedude truly captures the feeling of nostalgia from past summers spent lazing in the sun .
