Happy Mothers Day Compadres!

This post is dedicated mothers like Betty Draper. The following songs are a nice set of hip hop mash ups and piano mixes.

My post today highlights two great artists. One being 50 Cent, and the other being Chilly Gonzales. Both certainly have different styles, but when blended with other artists the results are spectacular.

Chilly Gonzales is Canadian? Yes, it's true, but he lives in London now and when he teams up with others his sound is so fresh and so clean. It helps of course to mix in a little 50 Cent.

Many Men (Chilly Gonzales Remix) - 50 cent

This next song is a pure instrumental jam that Chilly Gonzales based off the Boys Noize song Waves. A bit different for the Untz, but I thought it would be good to hear this guy pound on the keys.

Waves (Chilly Gonzales Piano Remake) - Erol Alkan and Boys Noize

Kid Cudi crushed it with The Pursuit of happiness, and his lyrics and smooth rapping style also lend to nice mash ups

Kid Cudi vs. The Postal Service - Man of the Moon

To finish off, I thought I would give you a bit more 50 Cent. This first song is a mash up with Annie Lennox and it works surprisingly well.

In Da Club - A Thousand Beautiful Things (Banzai Buda and Bliss stefen Mix)

I could play this last song on loop for days. It is 50 Cent's P.I.M.P done with a steel drum band. It has an almost Mark Ronson feel to it and is perfect for upcoming summer parties. Note on the link - I could only upload this file as a .zip for some reason, but the mp3 is in there and it should work. If not I will try it again next week.

PIMP (Prince of Ballad O.G remix) - 50 cent and the Bacao Rythym and Steel Band

Happy Mothers Day!
