That Japanese video is enticing. But this is better. It certainly isn't new, but always remains fresh at my "beat station". If you don't know Nikita's Machina, you should. The video for Soldat is equally as Gazprom and awesome.

This is one of the most interesting songs I have ever heard. It's astrophysics meets electronica.

Serious UNTZ here, but it definitely still keeps the poppy dynamic that we all love about Yes Giantess. Really sick jam.

Body Language - Work This City (Yes Giantess Remix)

I really like this band. They have like an Arcade Fire meets I'm From Barcelona type of feel to them. Gaining serious popularity, and for good reason.

Treasure Fingers - Cross The Dancefloor (Chromeo Remix)

Really into Miami Horror. Not only do they have one of the best names out there, but the music is gnarly. Fred Falke put his untzy twist on this disco disco disco jam.

Miami Horror - Make You Mine (Fred Falke Remix)

Ellie Goulding made some serious waves over the summer with her track "Under the Sheets". This remix is so dope. Pariah slows the pulse down and gives it a gangsta vibe.

Ellie Goulding - Under the Sheets (Pariah Remix)

Don't let the Christmasy name fool you, this band does not conjure up images of snow and reindeer. The synth used on this pop track is the most intense thing I have ever heard. Make sure to adjust your speakers properly!

Sleigh Bells - Crown on the Ground

Goddamn Frenchies. They are so lame, but their music is so good. This song is latenight funkuntzpop radness.

Sebastien Tellier - Roche (Breakbot Remix)

Raccoon

raccoon |raˈkoōn; rə-| (also racoon) a grayish-brown American mammal that has a foxlike face with a black mask and a ringed tail. Genus Procyon, family Procyonidae (the raccoon family): two species, in particular the common raccoon ( P. lotor), which often occurs in urban areas in North America. The common raccoon's scientific name lotor is Latin for ‘one who washes,’ a name descriptive of the raccoon's habit of using its front feet to forage for food in water.

This first track is as catchy as fly paper. I love it. Especially the line about blackout tendencies. I have been really impressed with all of Tiesto's new stuff. It is more vocally driven with a lot of collaborations. I think it shows that he can change with the times.

Tiesto Feat. C.C. Sheffield - Escape Me

Don't let the title fool you. This song is awesome. It sounds nothing like the original except for the tiny guitar hook. I was actually surprised to see the title of the song after I listening to it for over a minute.

Oasis - Wonderwall (Conor Cutz & DJ Black Remix)

This song is a straight up jam. It is foreign, fast, and weird. Great all around.

Protistas - Mi Pieza (Moustache! Remix)

This is an interesting song. Love the saxophone. Everytime you hear the words "slow down" the song just keeps getting faster and faster. A little strange but go with it.

Gonzales - Slow Down (Minitel Rose Fast Dance Remix) Minitel Rose

For those of you who like Annie, you'll love this song. I'm not sure if it is really in the spirit of chewing gum and heart beat, but Designer Drugs makes this song bad ass.

Grizzly Bear - Two Weeks (Fred Falke Extended Remix)

I went to the Metric concert at The Webster Theatre in Hartford with some friends last Wednesday. They were awesome to say the least. Unfortunately, I was a little too intoxicated and caught up in the tunes to provide you with any sick pictures or footage. However, here's a photo from the end of the show. This first jam is a nice Falke cut. I would sum this up as disgruntled trendy chicks talking over techno. It has an Au Revoir feeling to it.

This is a very mellow song. It sounds similar to a slow Feel it in my Bones by Tiesto. This song has a very subtle trance vibe, however, the lyrics are the focus of the song so it doesn't feel too techno. The girl rocks the shit out of her sappy and depressing lyrics also.

William Fitzsimmons - I Don't Feel It Anymore (George Raquet Remix)

I know this song has been kicking around hype machine from cassette culture or somewhere else. This is a jam. It's all about the mysterious synth and keyboard here.

Phoenix - Fences (Def Starr Version)

This song is awesome. It proves that all you need is a hot chick with a soft voice to make any cover good. I can't tell whether it's more funny or good.

Anya Marina - Whatever You Like (T.I. Cover)

Another good Them Jeans remix. Yeah Yeah Yeah remixes seem endless, but I like this song.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Soft Shock ( Them Jeans Acoustic Remix )

This is probably the first time I've listened to anything Fischerspooner in five years but I like this remix a lot. This song probably has the most action going on of any listed on this post. However, it is still on the more serious side.

Fischerspooner - Supply & Demand (AutoErotique Remix)

Most people have already listened to this puppy but it's good anyway. Hot Chip distorts the shit out of Marvin Gaye. But that trippy echo and off-time percussion make this song sort of interesting.

I posted this over a week ago but for some reason it didn't go up. My fileden was acting up so here goes. This is my first post since Halloween. I would like to say that the Boys Noize show in NYC was a blast and I urge everyone to see one of his performances in the near future. It was loud, musky, and very aggressive. Here’s a taste from his new album titled Power.

This cut from Bag Raiders delivers in shooting star fashion. ‘Smoking’ is the tits. It’s simple and doesn’t have too much going on. Reminds me of Linus Loves or Mylo.

The Classix remix was wildly popular last month and I think slightly tweaked version is also very good. Discussed this with Tweir over the weekend. A little more dancey a little more smasher.

Yacht - Psychic City (Classixx Remix-Fabio Pop Dancefloor Rework)

Fred Falke rips it up again in this Kesha remix of the catchy ‘Tik Tok.’ Let’s face it Falke makes everything better. The Chuck Bucket mix is awesome too, but I think this one’s better.

While we’re on the trash rock/rap genre. I thought this was the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.

Eric Cartman - Poker Face (Lady Gaga Cover)

Heard this track on Sundtrak the other day. I thought it was the shit and I think that you should listen to it now if you haven’t already. Straight up Horror Film

Gringo Oba - Killer on the Dance Floor (MMMathias Radio Edit)

This song is gnarly. Pop and synth with some nice spooky lyrics.

I saw this band at the Mill with Pitney a fews back. Pretty solid group from Brooklyn. I'm dreaming of your goddamn long nails.
